He is famous mostly due to performing in : “The Troy” (2004), “The brave heart” (1995) , in “Bourne Identification” (2002) and many, many others. Brian Denis Cox was born in the international children day in 1946, in a Scottish town called Dandy, and was the youngest of five children in the family. His father Charles was working as a butcher, but later he became the owner of his own store, but when Brian was only 8 years old he died. His mother Mary Ann, needed to work hard and a lot in order to be able to feed all of her children by herself, that is why she was quite nervous and emotionally instable, due to this thing, he was raised mostly by his aunts. His carrier as an actor started when he went to the local drama theater, and joined its shows. After that he realized what he would like to do next in his life, and after school graduation he went to London, where he studied the art of performance in the London Academy of drama art. One of his first main roles was Orlando’s character in one of the Shakespeare’s plays in the comedy “How do you like that”. Soon he debut on TV, while appearing in the episodes of a few TV shows.
