Licence to Kill will forever be my most favorite James Bond movie not so much for the actor, who is attractive playing Bond, but for the actress as his assistant Carey Lowell, who is one of the most beautiful women ever. Today over coffee I caught a clip on Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood and an interview with former arrogant and conceited actor R. Gere.

As I was went back to writing my class paper, I heard this man note he has never thought about if he will ever be an actor as if for men his age the camera is kind? He comes off extremely annoying about things that do not matter, e.g., a question by Charles to him, about if he was ever going to act again? Auh this is Richard Gere folks, "Yes, the man loves to be on camera", and a bunch of other nonsense he spots off on in this short interview. I did catch information on his past acting roles and movies, and while initially his comments about a movie, Pretty Women were unkind even toward the actress who played his love interest with Gere, our girl, Julia Roberts it made me feel this actor acts as if he is the carrier of all movies he is in and no one else in the movie matters? This clip notes particular movies he has been in and while I see the movies for the actor and actresses together R. Gere is not someone I follow based on his own dumb comments for instance . . . said Gere: "People ask me about that movie, but I've forgotten it. People should go see Arbitrage?" As if no mind, I washed my hands of a movie called Pretty Women with Julia Roberts and for that matter any of the other actors in a movie "I am in". Further confiming what a conceited dumb ass this man has always been and become. His first wife shared comments that caused me as a reviewer of movies today, find him then to be at his height of movies and wrecked that opinion of being a good possible on his way to being a great actor. That day was my last day listening to or ever watching this abatross again. Society promotes these individual and they begin to think that they are God in his case the Dali Lama, one who will "always think that no one else is as important or popular as good ole played out actor, R. Gere." Seriously? The only actor in time who I find to be extremely arrogant, supercilious, egocentric, and a true I don't know who I really am, narcissist. My prayers are with Carey and her adorable son Homer, this man is a true ass. It was a shock that someone so very beautiful and kind has ended up with this man, who I guess at a time in any womans life, she can lower their standards and marry men who are not necessarily “their leveled equal.” Am happy to know she has a beautiful son Homer and today looks content and happy; but gees Carey, Richard Gere?
