Julie Andrews was born in October 1935 in Walton, which is located in the Sothern part of United Kingdom. Her carrier started since 1956. She is a famous English actress, singer and writer. During her carrier she was not only nominated for a variety of awards, but she even got the best of them, such as: “Oscar”, “Emmy”, “Grammy” and “Golden Globe”.
During the war time she was always appearing in the London musicals, and when she turned 21 she relocated to Broadway, where she was announced as the queen of musicals. Her performance of Elisa Doolittle in the play “My wonderful lady” was simply amazing. The best authors of “Camelot” and “Cinderella” were writing their plays especially for her.
At some point she realized that it was about the time to start performing in movies as well. She performed in “Marry Poppins” movie, and this role brought her an Oscar award.
On the way of success she performed the main role in the musical movie “The sounds of music”, which became the classics of family films, and won an Oscar as the best movie of the year.
In 1997 as a result of an operation she lost her wonderful voice, the good thing that her carrier after that hasn’t stopped. In 1999 the Queen of Great Britain turned her into a Lady.
