Kerry McCormick is an actor, dancer and stunt-performer who has been in the industry since 2007. Inspired by films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Salt, her desire is to become the next action heroine. Her film experience ranges from action-oriented independent films such as Deadly Romance and The Reckoning (2014), to award winning dramas such as What Things May Come (3rd Place DBFF 2011), Upstream Color (Sundance Special Jury Award 2013) and Rockin' Reverend (Best Screenplay in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Competitions). She also has appeared in various local and regional Commercials, Dallas-based Television shows such as Chase and The Good Guys, and music videos for local Austin bands such as Squint and The Cocky Americans. She has the ability to be fully immersed in her characters, so much so that you may have trouble recognizing her.

Kerry was born in Fort Worth, Texas and is the youngest of four children and the only girl. She attended private schools and her extra-curricular activities included dance, basketball, cross-country and track. She holds an MBA in International Business. She continues to focus on fitness, receiving an MMA black-belt in 2004, and regularly practicing yoga, dance, Zumba and cardio-kickboxing. She is also a volunteer at a local animal shelter. She is married to James McCormick and has a daughter, also named Kerry.

Her inspiration to become an actor came from watching her brother Jim in his high-school performances, as well as her daughter Kerry at Water Tower Theater in Dallas.
