In his childhood he liked playing football and was dreaming of becoming a professional sportsman, but while he was growing up his interest with sports was becoming smaller and smaller. But he got a new addiction- the theater. His parents put him into some drama courses, where he started learning with great enthusiasm. After graduating the school, Michael went to the Wales National Youth Theater, where for the great successes, he was sent practicing to the Royal Academy of Drama Art. Michael Sheen during his carrier performed different roles, between them we find such movies as : “Golden Youth”, “Another World”, “The Attraction Rules”, “Evolution”, “Queen”, “Twilight” and many, many others. For a long time Michael Sheen was in a relationship with an actress Kate Beckinsale whom he met on filming the “Evolution”, in 1999 in the family of this couple was born a baby daughter. In 2010 Sheen started a relationship with a Canadian actress Rachel McAdams. A huge popularity was brought to Michael Sheen after he performed the role of prim-minister Tony Blaire in Steven Frères movie “Queen” in 2006.
