Peter Krause was born in the middle of august 1965 in Alexandria, which is located in the state of Minnesota, in a family of two teachers. Peter has a brother and a sister- Michael and Amy. When he was a teenager he was doing gymnastics, but due to the trauma he was forced quitting his carrier. Later he went to Adolph Gustav’s college in Saint Peter city and his major was English literature. After he graduated the college he relocated to New York where he graduated the prestigious University of New York in which he became a master in arts- in Master of Fine Arts Acting Program. During studies in New York he worked as barmen with the future actor and scenario writer Aaron Sorkin. After graduating the University he moved to LA where he started working on the television. In 2002 and in 2003 he got a Golden Globe – for the best male role on the television (in drama genre) for the role in “Client is always dead”. In 2006 he was nominated for the Emmy award as the best actor in drama TV show “Six Feet Under”. In 1999 he got married with Christine King and in 2001 she bore him a son –Roman. Currently he is in a relationship with Lauren Gram, his colleague of the motion set of the “Parenthood” TV show.
