Robin Weigert was born in July 1969 in Washington. The girl with the Jewish roots graduated Brandace University in 1991, after which she got a master degree in the field of the Fine Arts in the Tisch School which was subject to the University of NY. She is mostly famous due to playing a role of Calamity Jane in a “Deadwood” TC show for which she got an Emmy nomination in 2004. Later she was invited by the producer Michael Nichols to perform Marsha’s role in the setting of “Chayka” where she played with Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman and Christopher Waken. The actress is considering this experience as being one of the brightest in her carrier. Currently the actress prefers working in the theatre mostly, though she is quite demanded in the world of cinema due to her charisma and born talent.
