Sally Hawkins was born in April 1976 in London. She is the daughter of famous children writers, Jackie and Colin Hawkins. She grew up in the south west region in London, which is called Dawlish where she was attending the school for the girls by James Allen which she graduated in 1994. The same year she entered the Royal Academy of Drama Art (RADA) in which she studied till 1998. This movie was nominated for the BAFTA award. Later she performed with Imelda Stanton Hawkins in the movie “Vera Drake”. After it was a role in a TV show directed by Patrick Hamilton for the BBC channel. In 2006 she came back to the theater where she performed in the play “The Wintering”.
