Thomas Kretschman was born in Dessau (it is a part of Germany during the times of ex USSR). By the time he was young he was doing swimming and was a member of the national Olympic team. It is interesting to know that he started his theatre carrier by the time he was twenty five years old in Shailer’s theatre. The actor is single, as due to his tight working schedule, he didn’t had anytime to find a soul mate or to keep someone around him for a long time.
