After the two videos in which Justin Bieber uses racist slurs have emerged, many were outraged, but not 50 Cent. He has actually defended the singer, saying he is ”still a baby”.
Speaking to The Sun, the rapper said he doesn’t think Bieber is a racist, adding that he is just a very young man trying to find himself.
50, real name Curtis Jackson, said: ”I don’t think he’s racist. I don’t think even he knows who he is at this point — he’s so young.
”When you see people become huge stars real early, it’s tough for them. You have to grow up with all these expectations. I think Justin’s still a baby and he’s lost.”
In the first video that was leaked online, 15-year-old Bieber tells an offensive joke where the punchline includes the N-word. In the second one, he is seen changing the words to his hit One Less Lonely Girl to One Less Lonely N**ger and making references to Ku Klux Klan.
50 Cent fears that this whole incident might have a damaging effect on Justin.
He said: ”That people are saying he is may actually affect him and turn him into one. I’ve been so many things I’m not because of things that people said I am. But I think he will be all right.”
