Katherine Thurston was charged with stalking Hugh Jackman after the incident that occurred at a New York City gym Saturday. The woman allegedly chased the actor with an electric razor screaming “I love you”. Jackman told The Post: “It was obviously frightening.”

“For me, my main concern is for my family,” the star said, adding: “I just hope the woman gets the help she needs.” Thurston wasn’t available for comment. She was hauled into Manhattan Criminal Court and charged with stalking.

This is not the first time this woman caused problems for Hugh and his family. She has been stalking them for some time. Last month she approached the actor’s wife and daughter and said: “I am going to marry your husband.” She was also stalking Jackman at a San Francisco concert last year and he took out a restraining order against her. Thurston told the police: “I was very impressed with ‘X-Men 2,’ so I started e-mailing him.” She repeatedly visited the actor’s home, gym and daughter’s school.  “I was at his daughter’s school. I went to his gym this morning. I want to marry him. This is not against the law. It is not against the law to have two wives,” the woman said.
