Alec Baldwin to guest star on ‘Law & Order’

baldwin_Alec Even though he has expressed his hatred towards media more than once, Alec Baldwin doesn’t seem to mind playing a journalist.

It has been revealed that Baldwin will star in the episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as a New York newspaper columnist. His character in the NBC drama is a controversial journalist who accuses the police of improperly investigating a rape case.

The episode will be directed by the show’s star Mariska Hargitay, who released a statement in which she expresses her excitement about her directorial debut.

“I’m thrilled to be directing. It’s been a goal of mine for a long time, and it’s quite Mariska-Hargitayan experience to see it realized. My respect for the process of making this show and telling these important stories deepens with every scene we shoot,” Hargitay writes.

“I have always been so honored to work with this cast and crew, but never more so than now, as a director collaborating in a new way. And I’ve watched Alec on screen for so long and always hoped we would be able to work together some day. Having the opportunity to tell this story with him, having him bring his experience, depth, truthfulness, and fierce commitment, honestly feels too good to be true.”

Alec Baldwin being against social life doesn’t mean he will never play a journalist. I know he is sick and tired of paparazzi following him everywhere and that he had a scandal with the photographer that got under the famous actor’s bad anger management. Still, Alec is an actor, very talented and famous, so why not he portray a journalist? I am sure Alec will cope perfectly well with the role he has got in ‘Law & Order’ movie.

Mmm I think Alec Baldwin is making a mistake while performing in a TV show, especially considering the fact that this TV show is a beginning step for the actors who only start their carriers and not for the ones who are already finishing theirs for sure. I think it is better to walk out of the stage with a proud walking after the huge impact made upon the cinema industry, than after a cheap small role in a TV show that lasts already for longer time when he is living on the planet. Ha ha, just got the thought that Alec Baldwin is a sort of dinosaur in the cinema industry, as well as almost all of his brothers.

Hmm, I think I didn’t quite understood did Alec Baldwin finished his carrier in the movies or not, because I can swear to God that a few days ago I read an article where he was stating a different thing, he stated that his carrier is over, and he is retiring. Mmm, it is weird reading that he will play in a TV show, because Alec Baldwin was always an adept of the idea that he will never perform in any kind of series, it is a cheap thing. It is a pity that by the end of the carrier he has changed his mind; probably it is not showing him from the good side. And from the other hand, people do change their mind a lot, it is a common feature for a human being.

I am glad that Alec Baldwin will perform in the “Law and Order” TV show; I love it since being a little girl, so it will be nice to see such a star in it. And the other reason I am so happy about is that Alec Baldwin didn’t “retired” as he was planning, and it is really great news. I like his performing, he is one of the actors whose art of performing is perfect, and I think starlets have many things to learn from him, if I were him I would have opened a school for the young talents, in order to bring his talent to other talented people as he or his daughter is.
