Amy Adams: I’m often mistaken for Isla Fisher

amy-adams-the-hollywood-reporter-nominees-night-2013_3482886 In an interview with the January issue of Vanity Fair, Amy Adams says she is being mistaken for Isla Fisher all the time.

The actress doesn’t understand why people mix her up with Isla so often.

She said: ”I get Isla Fisher all the time, still. And I know Isla, and for a while our kids went to the same dance school. When I’m with Isla, we both look at one another and … I get it but I don’t get it. But just like I tell her, it could be a lot worse. I could be mistaken for a lot worse people.”

Even though Hollywood is one big competitive jungle, Amy doesn’t see her fellow actresses as rivals and she is even glad to recommend them for jobs.

amy-adams-american-hustle-los-angeles_3980739”I get excited for people when I know I should be competitive. I’d say in an audition, ‘I don’t think I’m right for this, but you know who you should get?’ I used to do that when I was an unemployed actress. ‘Has Zooey Deschanel come in? Because she’d be fantastic . . . Have you met Emily Blunt? Because she is really wonderful,’ ” she explained.

Wow, they indeed resemble each other so much that I have no wonders why people mix Amy Adams with Isla Fisher so much. I join Amy’s words, I get it and I don’t get it! They are different, yet so much alike. Maybe one of them should change the style? Maybe dye hair or do a new hair cut? Maybe try another style, etc. What do you think Amy? And, yes, I agree, it is good people do not mix you up with bad and scandalous people.
