Angelina Jolie honored at 2013 Governors Awards

jolie-729 In an emotional speech during the 5th annual Governors Awards on Saturday night, Angelina Jolie thanked her late mother, Brad Pitt and their children for their love and support.

The actress received the honorary Oscar for her charity work in humanitarian causes. She came to the event accompanied by Brad and their son Maddox.

Jolie was presented with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award by George Lucas.

“My family, my love – your love and support make everything possible,” she said to Pitt. “Mad, you and your brothers and sisters are my happiness and there is no greater honor than being your mom.”

jolie-pittHolding back tears, Angelina continued: “My mother was very clear that nothing would mean anything if you didn’t lead a life of use to others. I didn’t know what that meant for a long time. To stand here today means I did as she asked. And if she were alive, she’d be very proud.”

“I’ve learned what life is like for most people in this world. And how fortunate I was to have food to eat and a roof over my head, a safe place to live and the joy of having my family safe and healthy. And I have realized how sheltered I have been. And I was determined never to be that way again.”

Honestly, when I read this article, I had tears in my eyes. I admire this woman for her charity work, fro being a good actress and for just gladdening my eyes with her outstanding beauty. She is an extraordinary beauty. Brad must be the happiest man on earth to have such a woman by his side. She is not only beautiful, charming and stylish; she is also a very deep woman with great responsibilities and plans in life and a big generous heart. I love you, Angie!

This woman is one of the most stunning celebrities in the world. She is the embodiment of femininity and beauty. I like her and all the charity she does. I like her strong will and tough character when needed and at the same time a weak fragile woman, who needs brad’s strong shoulder. I am happy there are such women on earth as Angie. Only her adopting so many kids tells much about her as person. She truly loves all her kids, no matter of they are adopted or of her own. Seep respect I have towards this woman!
