The role of young Aurora in Maleficent was initially offered to Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh, but the seven-year-old tomboy didn’t want to play a princess, finding the whole idea ”very funny”. So, instead of her, Angelina’s youngest daughter, Vivienne, got the part.
”We knew she would say no. We mentioned the idea of playing a princess and she obviously thought it was very funny. She’s not that kind of girl,” Jolie said.
However, Vivienne is different. ”We call her my shadow. She’s a very… she’s wonderfully affectionate, very much a mommy’s girl and so it was a natural fit. It was very easy and very fun to do.”
Awe my Gosh I think it is so amazing that a mother and a child have performed in the same movie, what can be more beautiful than that? Angelina is a very tender, caring and affectionate mother, and I am glad her daughter is following her steps, probably Angie is very proud of Vivienne, and I am happy she got to feel those emotions, she have been through a lot and really deserves her female happiness, she had a tough life with Billy Bon, and after that all those troubles with having cancer or not, and so on. The best thing I find about Jolie is that she cares not only of her own family, but for the people in the poor countries also!
I think it is very cute when parents give their children a chance to perform with them in the movie, what can be more beautiful than that? And I can say that Vivienne is a very brave little girl, as she accepted the challenge and performed, as it was not an entire event but something very usual for her, something that she is doing on an everyday basis, I find that special! Usually children, blush and are shying of all the people they do not know if being around, but Vivi, is not that kind for sure, something tells me that she is a future actress as well! I am wondering what is wrong with Shiloh, and why didn’t she wanted to follow her mother’s and sister’s example?
Hmmm, now I see a new family, that introduces children to the world of show business. My concern is that by doing that Angelina Jolie is certainly taking away childhood from her children, and I think it is a very cruel thing to do! Actors and actresses do not have a real normal life, they are always haunted by paparazzi, and every mistake they are making becomes news for the entire world unfortunately, I can definitely say that a normal mother, especially after going through all those things by herself would never do it to her own children, but Angelina probably became not a very touchy and feely person while surviving on the planet called Hollywood!
