Barefoot Aubrey Plaza with a drink in her hand interrupted Will Ferrell’s acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday April 14. Ferrell was accepting his Comedic Genius Golden Popcorn when Plaza approached and tried to take the trophy from his hand. Ferrell didn’t let go and asked her if she was alright. She said “Yep” and returned to her seat. “Aubrey Plaza, everyone,” Ferrell said. “Just like we rehearsed it.”

Later he told MTV: “I think she wanted to tell me something important, but there was no message. It was just a lot of hot liquor breath. And, then, and a little bit of sweat. And then she ran away.”
