The tragic news of Robin Williams’ death has shocked the world and left many people heartbroken. One of them is Ben Affleck, who credits the late star for making his dreams come true.
Affleck and his friend Matt Damon co-wrote the script for the critically acclaimed movie Good Will Hunting, which earned them the Best Original Screenplay Oscar and Best Supporting Actor award for Williams.
Ben posted a message on his Facebook page that said: “Heartbroken. Thanks chief – for your friendship and for what you gave the world. Robin had a ton of love in him. He personally did so much for so many people. He made Matt and my dreams come true.
“What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything. May you find peace my friend.”
Robin Williams was found dead Monday after committing suicide in his home in Tiburon, California. He was 63.
