Ben Affleck to Experience ‘Life Below the Line’

Ben-Affleck Poverty is a global problem and Hollywood high-roller Ben Affleck decided to join the poverty awareness campaign. He is the latest celebrity who will show his support for the Global Poverty Project’s Live Below the Line campaign by committing to live on a skimpy food budget.

Ben will spend five days feeding himself on only $1.50 a day to help raise the funds for the campaign of the Global Poverty Project. “1.4 billion people live on less than $1.50/day. I’m joining Live Below the Line on behalf of Eastern Congo. Will you?” the actor tweeted on Monday.

Global Poverty Project is a nonprofit organization that aims to illustrate the real challenges of international hunger. The organization’s official website says: “By living off just $1.50 per day for food for 5 days, you will be bringing to life the direct experiences of the 1.4 billion people currently living in extreme poverty and helping to make real change.”
