Leonardo took the industry by storm ever since he appeared in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape in 1993. Though the actor is just 39, he has starred in 29 films, delivering stellar performances in Catch Me If You Can, The Departed, Django Unchained, and most recently The Wolf of Wall Street. However, strangely the actor has never won an Oscar though he has been nominated three times for the movies Blood Diamond, The Aviator and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He is nominated this year too, for the role in The Wolf of Wall Street.
Annette Bening continues to deliver amazing performances. She has been nominated for four Oscars, although she has yet to take one home. She was nominated for the prestigious award in 2011, 2005, 2000 and 1991.
One of the biggest surprises to make the list, Johnny Depp is known to be an extremely diverse actor who has played numerous characters in films like Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Blow, Finding Neverland and many more. Despite his 40-year career, the legendary actor has never even been nominated for an Oscar. Almost everyone thought Richard Gere would finally receive an Oscar nomination in 2002 when he won the Golden Globe for Chicago, but that never happened.
Getting an Oscar is what the crowd nominates you too. This is a really unpredictable thing! The actors and actresses enumerate din this article are very famous, talented and have tons of fans after them. It is not very ad they have never won Oscars, as they have the fame and love of the auditory and they have world fame that is by far a better reward than a golden statue. Still, I hope some of them will manage to win the long-awaited cinematography prize. I would like Leo to win it very much as I know this is his cherished dreams and I simply cannot resist this actor.)
Wow, for me it was extra shocking to see in this list such names as Richard Gere, Samuel L. Jackson and Harrison Ford. Really? They are such a great actors I cannot imagine the entire cinema industry without them, they are like huge columns that are holding the industry on their shoulders. Damn it I am shocked, how come Richard Gere has never won the statue after so many years of acting, and how come they never gave them the statue for the performance in the movie “Pretty Woman”, now I am even more curious who won the statue instead of him in that year. Hmm, it seems that he never was nominated for this movie, and the entire movie was nominated, I have no idea what they were thinking of at that ceremony, as that movie is a total masterpiece, even though almost twenty five years have passed since it was released, it is still a hela good movie that is worth seen. And the second thing that has deadly surprised me is Harrison Ford, I was always a huge fan of its talent and simply am not able to understand how it happened that he never got the damn statue, for the entire Indiana Jones thing, or the huge variety of movies after it.
I truly feel sorry for Leonardo di Caprio, he is struggling so many ceremonies in a raw for the Oscar statue that already I feel a huge desire to give it to him, and the interesting thing is that each new year he is performing better and better, as well as the movie’s scenario is better and better, so I cannot really understand how did it happen that he never got the Oscar? For example his performance in the movie about Gilbert Grape is simply an epic one, or the one in “Titanic” the entire world was crying after he has died there, so how come that he was never honored with becoming a winner. I know for sure that many other actors with whom he was competing all those years they su**ed as didn’t had even half of his talent, so maybe it is a sort of trick from the juries to not give him Oscar in order to motivate him for even higher tops in his carrier. I guess there should be invented a new award especially for him for all the efforts he have put into the cinema industry. Probably it was very sad for him to lose especially considering that his fiancée was there with him, and it is always hard for a man to lose in front of his woman. Well maybe next year he will be luckier, I know for sure that when someone wants something really bad he never gets it, but as soon as the person loses interest in what he wanted he immediately obtains the long desired thing.
I am wondering why is Leonardo di Caprio so unlucky, he was nominated for the Oscar award so many times, but still no matter how great his performance is, and no matter how hard he tries he is still not able to win it. And I have no idea how to explain this, as the actors who were in competition with him, almost all the years when he was nominated they were mostly pathetic and not that good as he is for sure, so why is it happening to him. The sad thing is that it was quite obvious he got sad after he didn’t win the “trophies”; probably it is because due to his high expectations regarding the whole event. Well hopefully next year, though I don’t know how better an actor might perform than Leo has already did.
