H er new lifestyle website Preserve is what Blake Lively is focused on these days and she admits that her mom inspired her a lot.

In fact, the whole family is involved in this and every other aspect of her life and the actress loves it.

She told People magazine: ”My family is probably too involved in my life because they are my best friends, but I love that. My mom is better at this than I could ever imagine being. She’s just amazing at finding the most incredible treasures.”

When it comes to running her new business, Blake says she tries to be a hands-on boss and wants to understand every detail.

She said: ”I’m the assistant at photo shoots, running around making sure everyone has food and the photographer has all of his equipment. But I also wanted to learn web design and how to code and upload products.

”I think it’s important to understand what goes into everyone’s job. When I make a decision, it’s easy for people to say okay, but then they’re in the office until 3am, and I don’t even know. If I understand the implications, then I can be the best leader that I can be.”
