Working together on The Hangover movies has helped Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis become very close. The two actors have developed such strong friendship that Zach was the first person Bradley called when his father died.

”Zach is one of my best friends; he’s the one I go to when something’s wrong. He is the first person I called when my father died,” Cooper said.

Bradley also credits The Hangover franchise’s success to this bond the three lead characters share. He said: ”The chemistry between the three of us is the main reason for it, I think. I think a lot of people see a bit of themselves in Phil, Stu and Alan.”
