Las Vegas loves Britney Spears! The singer’s show, titled Britney Spears: Piece of Me, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Axis theater, was such success that has been offered $12 million to extend her two-year residency.

Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner told the New York Daily News: “Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not.

“She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health,” he added. “She has a good life, coming in on private jet. She has a villa upstairs at Caesars and really enjoys it here — so why wouldn’t she stay?

britneySelesner has admitted that signing Britney was some sort of a gamble, but it paid off.

“You just didn’t know what was going to happen,” he said. “But the fans loved her. And she has so many fans from all over the world, that the support has been fantastic.”

Britney’s show runs about 90 minutes and is being directed by award-winning lighting and touring director Baz Halpin.

The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino says the first round of shows in August and September sold out.

Probably the best thing she has done in years! I think steady work will help her! Mentally she should get off the meds now. I want the old Britney back! like she was in 1997.

Free drugs for another 2 years? Britney will say yes. But Britney check the record Las Vegas kills people you, see Elvis.

I love Britney but I think she should call it a day or at least take an very long extended break. The music has been consistently good through her entire career but that’s not enough now. When says she still loves performing, I don’t believe her. She’s keeping other people in a job, they want her to carry on. Her heart and body aren’t in it any more 🙁
