Reportedly, Bryan Cranston has been cast as Lex Luthor in Man of Steel 2. The Breaking Bad TV star will play the famous villain in the sequel and has signed up for the long haul, with him set to play the character in at least six films based around DC Comics characters. Warner Bros. are said to be waiting until the end of September to make an official announcement.

A source told website Cosmic Book News: ”Cranston truly is a dream casting for Luthor.”

Meanwhile, it was announced last week that Ben Affleck will play Batman in Man of Steel 2, a decision which was met with mixed reaction.
