43-year-old actress Catherine Zeta-Jones checked into a mental health facility last month because of the bipolar II disorder. This is a specific condition that causes mood swings and depression. Catherine has been dealing with the disorder for quite some time and she joined a 30-day program which is now almost over.

Michael Douglas has revealed that she will check out today (May 21). “She comes home tomorrow. She’s doing a really good job of getting balanced. I’m proud of her,” he said.

Catherine has always been open about her condition because she is trying to help other women affected by mental health problems.
