What do Kim Kardashian and Colin Farrell have in common? They both have love tapes that leaked online and they are not the only stars whose most intimate moments have been seen by millions. Actually, it seems that most people in Hollywood have, at some point, faced a love tape scandal or a leaked nude photo at least. Here are some of the most interesting cases.
In 1988, the star was involved in a love scandal over a videotape of him having love with two females, one of whom was sixteen. Lowe has asserted that he did not know that the second girl was underage.
In 2011, excerpts of J.Lo’s love tape with ex-husband Ojani Noa leaked online (the tape was supposedly filmed during their honeymoon in 1997). Noa tried to make a profit by selling his famous ex’s nude footage, but Lopez had the tape locked in a safety deposit box under court order so it will never see the light of day.
This is probably the most famous celebrity love tape ever. It was 1997, and the video of Pam and Tommy’s honeymoon was stolen and widely distributed (one of the best-selling celeb videos of all time). Surprisingly, the infamous honeymoon video that she filmed with then-husband Tommy Lee wasn’t that hardcore — only six minutes of the 75-minute tape were sexual. A few years later, Pam made another tape with Bret Michaels.
In 2006, a 14-minute tape of Farrell and Playboy model Nicole Narain having love was released by Internet Commerce Group (ICG), showing Farrell shouting, “I f**king live on adult movie!” The actor promptly filed a lawsuit against ICG’s wider distribution. Farrell settled with ICG and to this day, only brief, seconds-long clips and still frames exist on a handful of sketchy websites.
In 2009, Gawker posted excerpts from a “private” adult tape featuring Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane, his wife Rebecca Gayheart. They filmed themselves not only nude, but having fun naked times with a former pageant girl named Kari-Ann Paniche. Dane is overheard on the tape declaring himself the king of “Cocaine Manor,” and announcing that his alter ego is named “Peter.” Fortunately, the three former friends managed to simply put out statements through spokespeople and let the whole thing fade into Hollywood history.
When rumors of the tape first surfaced, Hilton denied its authenticity. The tape, titled “1 Night in Paris” made the heiress a household name. In 2001 she and her then-boyfriend filmed their sexy video and the tape was released in 2004.
There’s still no confirmation as to whether or not 50 Cent and Pilar Sanders’ tape actually exists, but it has caused a scandal nonetheless. Rumor has it that Pilar’s ex-husband, former NFL athlete Deion Sanders, used the footage as proof that Pilar shouldn’t have custody of their kids.
In 2007, then-Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens had nude photos leaked online. The actress, who was 18 at the time, released an apology to fans saying “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos.”
While on vacation in St. Barts with then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow in 1995, Brad Pitt was photographed sunbathing nude, and the illegally procured photos were sold and published by Playgirl. Pitt sued the magazine and a judge ordered Playgirl not to deliver any more copies of its 1997 August edition, which contained the photos.
There are love tapes that everyone wants to see because they feature someone famous, and then there are love tapes that help make someone famous. Kim made a love tape with Ray J and Vivid Entertainment released it without her permission — prompting her to sue them for $5 million in damages. Despite the fact that it was the triple-X film that launched Kim into A-list status, it was quickly swept under the rug.
Scarlett Johansson’s nude photos leaked in 2011 after they were hacked from her personal email account. The photos were meant for then-husband Ryan Reynolds, but ended up online for all to see. When asked about the photos in an interview with Vogue, the actress said: “I don’t want to be a victim and say, ‘Oh, well’ and just hide my head in shame. Somebody stole something from me … It’s sick.”
Well, shit happens and it happens more often to the celebrities rather than simple people. The famous people are being followed by paparazzo everywhere and their personal e-mails controlled, etc. I just cannot stand the exes of celebrities , who would post on-lien home made XXX movies and earn on this .this is simply sick to me. We all have our skin and bones and we all makes sex, many people videotape it. So, why get so low and post it on-line? Just for money, of scandal??? Well, some ‘stars’ now have gained their popularity due to the videos that ‘leaked’ on the web, take, Kim Kardashian, for instance!
