Charlie Hunnam to play King Arthur

ACharlieHunnam ccording to Deadline, Charlie Hunnam will portray King Arthur in Guy Ritchie’s movie Knights Of The Round Table: King Arthur.

Warner Bros is planning to create a franchise that will last for six films, telling the story of King Arthur and his legendary knights.

Hunnam, who stars in Sons of Anarchy, was previously planned for the lead role in Fifty Shades of Grey, but eventually left the project.

Speaking about the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ novel, the actor said earlier: ”I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn’t have taken it on in the first place.

It was definitely kind of heartbreaking having to say goodbye to that character and not bring it to life.”

But, despite pulling out of playing Christian Grey, Charlie can’t wait to see the movie.

”If they invite me to the premiere, I will go and see it there. If not, I’ll go and buy some tickets on opening night,” he added.
