Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam spoke to reporters for the first time since Universal Pictures announced he was no longer attached to Fifty Shades of Grey.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the actor would not be part of the best-selling novel’s film adaptation.
At a charity event, Charlie told E! News that he is focused on his TV series and his family. “I am doing good. I am just really concentrating on work. It’s been a really busy time. I have had some family stuff going on so just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family and stay positive,” he said.
The actor says that even though he is sad that Sons of Anarchy is coming to an end, he is ready for a new chapter of his life. “We are like a family and have become very, very close and become dear friends to each other so it’s going to be sad and finish up and say goodbye to everyone, but we’ve got like 13, maybe even a few more, episodes. But I just want to finish that strong and go on to a new chapter of life,” he explained.
Charlie is a great actor and I like him! I am happy he is concentrating on something he likes and really enjoys doing. This brings him moral satisfaction, good income and positive mood, so, why not??? Fifty Shades of Grey is a boring and dull thing and I wonder how one can film it with porno scenes?! LOL. Good choice. And definitely family – this is the best thing on earth we can have, so it comes number one priority in life, I agree with Charlie Hunnam here. Spend as much time with your close ones as only it is possible.
