Even though last month he said he was going to quit acting, Chris Evans says otherwise now.
The 32-year-old actor previously said he was no longer interested in being in front of the camera, but now he feels ”silly” for suggesting he would quit acting.
Appearing on Good Morning America yesterday, Evans explained: ”By no means am I planning on retiring. It’s kind of a silly statement. But I certainly am going to try to focus a bit more on directing at this point.”
”I said that I directed last year. I really responded to it. I really enjoyed it. I’d love to focus a little bit more on that,” he added.
A few days ago, in an interview, Evans said: ”If I’m acting at all, it’s going to be under Marvel contract, or I’m going to be directing. I can’t see myself pursuing acting strictly outside of what I’m contractually obligated to do.”
Love him as Capt. America, didn’t think he was that great an actor till he filled those shoes..Hollywood should take note…save the big lead roles for Americans. Thank you.
Then he’d be the greatest director ever because he is a fantastic actor. All you have to do is watch him portraying Johnny Storm with the Fantastic Four and the Captain America. Two wildly different personalities and he nails both.
Chris can do whatever he wants but generally the good-looking people are the ones they put in FRONT of the camera, not BEHIND it…
Well we all are constantly changing our minds upon everything we do, so why judging Chris Evans for doing same thing. The only mistake he has made was speaking about it public, as about the rest he has been perfectly right. Every new day in our life is different, it brings us some good or bad news, and of course in response to that news our emotions are also changing, and it is a normal thing. So I am proud of the fact that he has found some strength in order to admit in public that he was wrong. This is the position of a strong person, while the weak ones are hiding.
