Chris Pine: My mother taught me to be a gentleman

chris-pine-cosmo Chris Pine is thankful to his mother for teaching him to be a gentleman.

In an interview with the new issue of Cosmopolitan, the actor reveals that his mom told him he should always treat ladies with respect and display table manners.

He said: ”My mother always told me to take my elbows off the table, so that if I ever had dinner with a queen, I would know how to eat properly. But she also taught me basic things about being a gentleman, like opening car doors. Especially in Los Angeles, I think people lose those small gestures that harken back to a different time but are still mutually appreciated by women and men. Those little things are just nice.”

”I have a couple of buddies who use Tinder. Whatever eases the process is great, since it can be awkward and uncomfortable meeting someone. It’s the same jumping-off point, ‘Oh, she’s cute’ or ‘He’s cute,’ and then you start talking. Ultimately, it comes down to the connection you have with that person once she’s in the room,” Pine said.

Oh, I love Chris now even more. He is just adorable. No knowing he is a gentleman just adds charm to him. Unfortunately, many men nowadays have forgotten the manners and how to treat woman right. This is too bad. I agree with Chirs, knowing the manners and following them in every day life is just nice. So, I kindly ask all men on earth to refresh all the manners in the mind and behave as gentlemen. Women, do kindly accept it!)
