Jessica Alba: I don't want to be stay-at-home mom
Christian Slater got marrid! He and his longtime girlfriend Brittany Lopez tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at the courthouse in Coral Gables in Florida on Monday (December, 2).
A representative for the actor has confirmed the happy news, saying that Slater and Lopez went to the courthouse to get their marriage license and spontaneously decided to get married right there on the spot.
The couple, who have been together for three years, announced they were engaged in February. They had the engagement party on December 31, 2012, and planned to have a small ceremony in their back garden.
Christian said earlier: ”We had a big engagement party on the 31st of December and it was nice, it was like New Year’s and we had all the family come, 200 people, so it kind of already feels like we did the wedding, so we are just going to do a nice backyard situation.”
I am very happy for the couple. Love has no boundaries and even a traditional wedding is not necessary. The main idea id s that two love each other ad that they got married unexpectedly just adds romance to their story. None needs luxury and lavish weddings for the relationship to last longer all it takes is mutual love, understanding, trust, commitment and devotion. I wish Christian and Brittany many happy years together to come!
