After 17 years of marriage, Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina have separated. Dina made a statement on Thursday (29th August) confirming she and her husband were no longer together.

The couple met in 1993 when Dina, who was a TV presenter, interviewed Clint. They married three years later. According to reports, they haven’t been photographed together since 2011 and it is believed that the separation began in June of last year. Despite living apart the couple remain ‘close’, according to Us Weekly.

When the US entertainment magazine contacted Eastwood’s manager, he said “I know nothing about that [Dina’s statement].”
