ay_108143723-e1366313758260 Colin Farrell¬†admits that he signed on to 3D animated adventure Epic because of his sons, James who is 9 and Henry, 3. The actor says he thought it might be fun but isn’t really convinced that the boys will like the movie.

He told Us Weekly magazine: ”I liked the idea that my sons could watch this film and enjoy it. Maybe they won’t like it, but I did it for selfish reasons too. I thought it would be fun.”

I don’t know what I’m doing, and that’s a very liberating thing. You just go, ‘Oh look, there’s s**t on the floor.’ There’s actually s**t on the floor – I have a picture of it on my phone. So what do you do? You clean it up, put a diaper on his ass, and that’s that. It’s just about being present for these guys.”

The 37-year-old actor said that his sons have different interests but they are not likely to pursue the acting career. He said: ”Henry is fascinated by fossils. We have a paleontologist on our hands.”
