Jennifer Lawrence might join Chris Martin on tour
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, Drew Barrymore talked about raising kids and has revealed she doesn’t want her children to start acting at young age like she did.
She also says that she will certainly protect her girls from some things but won’t “totally shelter” them.
“If you totally shelter your kids, that’s not normal, but I don’t want mine to have mobile phones until a certain age,” Drew explained.
“I will never let my children act. When they’re 18, if they want to, but not before,” she added.
She uttered one of the best lines in film history IMO.” It’s the man from the moon…but I think you’ve killed him already”. ET.
Just shows that you CAN overcome cr*p parents and a bad start. Bless her, she’s had her problems but she seems so grounded and lovely
I will not believe this type of story anymore, after what happened to Peaches Geldof, it is obvious celebrities paint a picture of a wonderful family life, when the real truth can be anything but? We all exaggerate about how perfect our family life is? I always think those that need to spread the word and doing it, to try and convince themselves first!! There is no such thing as a the perfect family life, we are all different, we all make the best of what life deals us and we are all different, families are unique and no family is better than another, just different.
She was handed lemons and made the best lemonade. She never threw a pity party for one she just got on with the business of living making her mistakes owning them and finally being the parent she really deserved to have had.
Drew should be proud of the way she has pulled herself and her life out of the gutter! Yes she was famous and had money, but living with no family support and no life is hard especially when you are only 8! I am not surprised she wants to have a great family life and is close to her in laws now.
Pleased she has found her own happiness with her husband and baby’s………..when I see her I always think of her as Gertie! where have the years gone!!…………she looks stunning in the photo’s above…..love the styling very sleek & chic……..outfits and jewelry are gorgeous
