The former wife of superstar golfer Tiger Woods has purchased a new home in Florida. Elin Nordegren bought the mansion in North Palm Beach, Florida, which is only ten miles away from where her ex lives when he’s not out around the world golfing. It looks like they were serious about not breaking the family up and trying to keep things relatively normal for the kids. The home cost roughly $12 million and they’re expected to move in almost immediately since it needs very little work to bring it up to par.

Elin received more than $100 million in her divorce from Tiger and she likely receives child support as well to keep the kids in the lavish lifestyle they were used to when they all lived together as a family. Tiger apparently demanded that she keep the children close or she wouldn’t get the settlement she was hoping for and it appears that she’s living up to her end of the bargain, thankfully. The house looks quite spectacular, obviously, and they should be plenty comfortable. Tiger can get over there easily to see his kids but they have enough space that they won’t have to awkwardly run into each other in public. Why did he bother getting married in the first place?
