In an interview with Access Hollywood, Ellen Page says she never expected the kind of support she has received ever since she announced she is gay.
The actress admits she expected negative comments after coming out, but instead of backlash she heard lots of kind words.
”I’ve experienced basically nothing but support, it’s actually really kind of blown my mind,” Page said. ”I thought there would be a lot more viciousness.
”Maybe that’s because you’re afraid and for some reason you have this perspective, because of probably your own anxiety. So to me, that’s been the most beautiful thing, because it’s so indicative of the change that’s happened and the growth that’s happening.
”For me, it’s been basically nothing but support.”
We will next see Ellen in the latest X-Men movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past, as Kitty Pryde/ Shadowcat, and the actress promises lots of fun to the fans. She says the film is thrilling and emotional at the same time.
”I loved it. I was totally blown away, totally on the edge of my seat and also, really moved, you know, I found it really emotional. So for me, it hit all the marks,” Page explains.
The world becomes more loyal and open to deviations. Being gay is not normal!! Who is going to procreate if the entire world would become Conchita’s Wurst from Eurovision 2014? What example of being so open to the abnormalities we give to our kids? Where is the heck the world is going? Are we dying out as Homo Sapiens and human race?
