Today Eva Mendes is a very popular and respected actress. Hollywood loves this lady and fans are crazy about her. However, she did have some difficult times back when she wasn’t very famous.

Eva appeared on The Daily Show and shared some not very pleasant experiences she had during her beginnings. Specifically, she spoke about her role in Exit Wounds, the 2001 movie. “They dubbed my voice,” the actress revealed. She was quite surprised by that and wanted to know the reason. The producer explained to her that she didn’t sound intelligent enough. “It was a Steven Seagal movie and I didn’t sound intelligent enough,” Eva said.
