Fox confirms Naya Rivera has not been fired from ‘Glee’

After days of speculation that Naya Rivera has been fired from Glee due to her alleged feud with Lea Michele, Fox dismissed the rumors, saying that the actress is still part of the cast.

In a statement released to The Associated Press, the network said: “There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show. She remains under contract to Glee.”

A few days ago, Rivera’s representative also denied reports suggesting her client had been fired from the show.

She said, “Any rumours or statements made as fact, that Naya Rivera was fired or let go from Glee or dropped from her recording contract, are categorically false. Someone obviously has an agenda to damage Naya’s good name and the media are failing at their duty to responsibly vet their sources and verify what is true and what is not. Naya’s attorneys are prepared to take any and all legal action to enforce and protect her rights.”

here’s been problems on the Glee set with diva attitudes for the last year. Lea Michele and Chris Colfer are the culprits and Darren Criss and Naya Rivera have been the victims. But it looks like the producers have realized that for the last year they should not indulge Leah and Chris any longer in their baby games.

The “press” has turned into Facebook. Someone posts something somewhere, no one verifies it and it spreads like wildfire as “news.” Seriously, not the first time either.
