Jaime King: Son taught me what love is

New mom Jaime King admits that her life has changed since she welcomed her son James Knight, but also that motherhood taught her the true meaning of love.

The actress gave birth to her son five months ago and admits her perspective on life has changed since his arrival.

She told People magazine: ”You look at this little child and any part of you that wants to go off into a lala land or any sort of selfish behavior or ideas, you look and you know what love is. I don’t know how to describe it other than it’s the most profound thing that could ever really happen.”

Jaime was given lots of advice by her friends and family and read various books, but nothing could really prepare her for parenthood.

”You think you know and you have no idea,” she says. ”You realize how powerful we are as creators and you realize that there’s no room for you own stuff anymore.”

”The only thing that really matters to me is the survival of my son. Obviously, to be in this industry, you have to be ambitious and driven, but it’s finding a way to balance how do I do the best work possible while at the same time create a life for my son where he can be very happy and free,” King added.

Congratulations to Jaime King with the baby and the real unconditional parent love she experiences to her son. Indeed, this is a great feeling that you cannot get ready for, just feel it when you become apparent. The real unconditional love on earth is the pure love of a mother to her child. I understand what a drastic change it made in the mind of this talented actress. Yes, you forget about yourself when you love that deeply and what really matters is your child’s survival. Still, being that popular and ambitious Jaime will keep on her acting career. I wish her good luck in managing between her family and work as this requires much time, dedication, patience and commitment.
