Jason Segel collects puppets
For the first time in his life Jared Leto was honored at this year’s Academy Awards. He won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his excellent performance in Dallas Buyers Club. However, as much as the prestigious award means to him, Jared has already managed to damage the golden statue.
He explained to Entertainment Tonight Canada: ”True story, I was letting some of the people that I work with take a picture with the Oscar, and I was carrying it downstairs and boom – I hit the railing on the stairs and I put a little nick in the back of it. It’s already lived in, as they say.”
Leto’s Oscar is now placed in his kitchen.
“The Oscar is sitting in my kitchen, guarded by some vegan butter and a bag of popcorn!” he said. “You know, they kind of end up in the kitchen because that’s the first place that I go when I get home.”
Kitchen is not the best place for Oscar! Not a great way to treat the so long awaited award after just receiving it but actually the golden statues is the statue but the award and people’s recognition is not in this statue. Jared Leto has undoubtedly gained it, no questions about this should arise. Golden statue is just a memory thing for this event. I can see how happy Jared is in the picture and I am happy for him and his heights in his acting career. He deserves it!
