Even though family life with a husband and two young kids can be busy, Jessica Alba has never thought about quitting job and staying at home. In fact, she wants to continue working so that her daughters can have a good example of an independent woman who can do everything she wants.

”I think it’s different for everyone. Some mums really don’t want to work and that’s fine,” Alba told Loaded magazine.

”For me, I wouldn’t know what that is like because that’s a part of who I am. I have aspirations. I want to be with my kids so they can see that in their life they can be anything they want and they can do their own thing and pay their own way.

”The independence that you gain from working is pretty awesome. My kids might be different when they grow up, but that’s up to them.”

However, Jessica admits that she sometimes feels she is missing out.

She said: ”I am very, very lucky in that I have a lot of help. But even then, there is always at least one part of me – wife, mother, actress, businesswoman – that I feel is missing out somehow.”
