Jodie Foster is in love again! The 50-year-old actress – who split from Cydney Bernard in 2008 after 20 years together – is in a relationship with photographer Alexandra Hedison, who previously dated Ellen DeGeneres for three years until they split in 2004.

According to E! News, the pair has been dating since the beginning of the summer. A source says, “It’s pretty serious. They’re totally in love.”

In January this year Jodie publicly came out and talked about her sexuality as she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globe Awards. She thanked her ex and spoke of her need for privacy.

Foster said, “There is no way I could stand here tonight without acknowledging one of the greatest loves of my life. My ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard.”

”A big coming out speech tonight … I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago, back in the stone age. But now, apparently I’m told, that every celebrity is expected to give the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime time reality show … I’m sorry, that’s just not me and it never will be,” she added.
