Josh Hartnett regrets dating co-stars

Josh Hartnett's Final Night In "Rain Man" At Apollo Theatre

In an interview with Elle magazine, Josh Hartnett, who dated some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, has hinted he regrets romancing some of his former co-stars.

“I don’t recommend it to young actors,” he said. “You can make a lot of enemies in the business that way. But when you work with somebody every day, it’s like trial dating. You develop a fantasy about them. It doesn’t always work out, does it?”

Hartnett dated Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Dunst, Penelope Cruz, Amanda Seyfried, Sienna Miller and Rihanna, but as impressive as his ex-lovers list sounds, the actor suggested jealousy was a problem for some of his former girlfriends.

He said: “Let them be on set whenever they want, with whichever co-star you’re working with. Never say the scene is too sensitive. They get very suspicious.”

Also, Josh admits that he can’t discuss his love problems with his friends, as no one wants to listen to his complaints about the Hollywood beauties.

He explained: “They want to hear all about what you’re doing, but they don’t want to hear any complaints. Back when I dated a few very beautiful, very famous girls, I said something once – it wasn’t really a complaint – and my buddy said, ‘Oh my God, my diamond shoes are too tight.’ He coined the phrase.”

  1. Selena says:

It is hard to be a damn hot actor and date co-stars! It is hard to keep them from being jealous and when the relationship doesn’t work you can really get enemies in Hollywood that is far from being beneficial for your acting career. This is where Josh Harnett is right and I am glad to hear his career and popularity dint suffer much.
