Kate Winslet: Society is very judgmental

Kate-Winslet Speaking for Time Out magazine, Kate Winslet said that the society today is still very judgmental and that single parents are not treated equally.

The actress, who is expecting her first child with third husband Ned Rocknroll and is already mother to Mia and Joe from her previous marriages, thinks that single parents have an undeserved bad reputation.

She said: ”Single mums do come in for a hard time. Society is incredibly judgmental. I know this. My life has taken me down several different paths I never expected it to take me down. Not in a million years. And I know the true meaning of getting by, by the skin of my teeth. I do. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got money, whether you’re famous or not. You have to carry on. And you can, because you have to.”

win2Kate also added that she is really enjoying her third pregnancy. ”I’ve been more active and healthier. I know more about how to take care of myself now. I think that between 27 and 37 was a big learning decade. I’ve been lucky – a bit tired and a bit sick at the beginning, but nothing major,” she said.

Kate is very beautiful woman and a brilliant actor! She is a great mother too. Yes, it is a hard task to raise a child without a man. I wish her woman’s happiness, normal baby delivery and many happy monets with her kids. She is just an adorable person and she deserves all the best in her life. The society can be too cruel sometimes, but who really cares! You are a star!
