Even though it’s been 17 years, Kate Winslet still gets embarrassed by the photo of her famous naked scene in Titanic.
The actress refuses to sign that picture for fans as it doesn’t feel comfortable.
She told Yahoo! Movies, “I don’t sign that picture. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that picture a lot. There’s a photo of it as well that someone has lifted from a still of the film, and that photo gets passed around too. I’m like ‘No! I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.”
If I had such a great body, I would not be embarrassed. Kate is the idol for many! Still, se is a human being with her vision on life and with her own kit of feelings and emotions. So, dear fans, f you do not have a plan of making Kate Winslet feeling awkward asking her for an autograph, bring the right pictures!
Well eventually Kate feels herself a bit uncomfortable while signing this kind of pictures, I think if I were on her place I would have felt the same way, and I would certainly not be very happy about it. You do many things when you are young, things that later you eventually regret, but it is already too late, and you cannot do anything about it. Performing the main role in such a unique and very powerful movie as “Titanic” was certainly a very important step in her carrier, and I am sure that if she wouldn’t take the risk at that time, than she wouldn’t be the actress she really is today. Sometimes life is offering us some very risky chances, and it was one of them, I am glad she took it.
I guess Kate Winslet is not supposed to feel ashamed for that picture, because after all it was not the only nude scene she is supposed to be ashamed of. Honestly speaking I saw her in the movies there she has showed much more of her body, actually she has showed everything she got in a very close and detailed way. So this way I am wondering why she feeling is so embarrassed for the picture from Titanic, if in comparison with other roles, the look she had in it is simply angelic. If she is now ashamed for those pictures, than I am wondering how she will feel like when her children would be watching the movies she performed in, I am sure she will feel same way as her parents do now.
Kate Winslet is a very beautiful woman, and where is nothing to be ashamed of about those pictures that she has made during the Titanic thing. Those moments in the movie are simply a masterpiece of the whole legendary movie, and are an example of behavior and erotic’s scene. It is the perfect ensemble between showing some part of the body, and the fantasy that each person evolves in the mind while looking at it. I guess the entire plan made up by James Cameron when he was filming the movie was simply perfect. And even now, after seventeen years since the release of the movie “Titanic” (seventeen, really?!?!?) this scene is still mega popular.
