Jessica Alba: I don't want to be stay-at-home mom
In an interview with ELLE magazine, Katie Holmes has described her mother Kathleen as ”very creative and loving” woman, who is her inspiration.
”She’s an amazing woman. She’s very creative and loving. She still sends us all care packages – things she sees when she’s out that make her think of one of us. She’ll send it with a beautiful card, great wrapping and ribbons. She makes everything just perfect,” the actress said.
Being a mother herself, Katie ensures she always protects her child and lets her know she is loved.
She said: ”Children are exposed to so much more than we were. I suppose every generation goes through that feeling, ‘Oh my god, it’s so different from how I grew up.’ I think the basics are very important: the number one thing is making sure my child feels loved. And that what she does and who she is, is special and important, and should be celebrated.”
I totally agree with Katie Holmes: it is hard to raise a child and their new generation drastically differs from yours, but the main idea of any upbringing is making sure that your child feels loved. I am very happy to hear that Katy has such a mother whose example she can easily follow when bringing up her daughter Suri. Unfortunately the marriage with Tom Cruise didn’t last long, but I am sure they two do everything possible for the little girl to feel love don both parts.
I think Katie Holmes was blessed with having such a caring mother, I am sure she supported Katie a lot during the divorce procedure with Tom Cruise, as I don’t know the reason of those two getting split, but I am perfectly sure that they truly loved each other a long time ago. I’m not going to say that I feel sorry for their daughter, as I don’t, I am sure that Tom will be spending a lot of time with her, as she is his only child, but I do hope that he will knock it off with the whole scientology thing, I am pretty sure that was the real reason of his marriage collapsing. I do hate that, religion is supposed to bond people together, to make the entire world better, and if the religion instead is breaking families, than it is a wrong religion.
Katie looks much better after the divorce, I remember when she was a starlet and was just starting the relationship with Tom she was looking so happy, her eyes were able to provide light for a whole city, and by the end of marriage her face looked sadder and sadder on each picture I was seeing, probably their family life was not easy at all. That is why I am very glad that she was able to go through it and to think of starting a new life. I am sure that she will be able to find a man of her own age who will love her more than anything in the world. And the good thing is that she has her perfect mom near her who would help her with everything she will need, that is also extremely important.
Hmm, Katie looks upset on the picture, I would even say that it is a mixture of sadness, arrogance and sexiness; well it is a good thing, with all of those I am sure she will be able to finally find a decent man for her. All since the beginning of her relationship with Tom I knew that it will end this way, that is why I am not shocked or amazed that it ended, I am only surprised a bit that Katie’s patience lasted for her so long, and I am glad her brain is finally back with her, as well as I am glad she has a good mom, this means I guess that she will not leave her alone in a tough situation, while divorce is always difficult, no matter of the circumstances, it is the end of something that used to be important a while ago.
