According to E! News, Katy Perry and John Mayer have split.
The report comes after the couple sparked engagement rumors, when Katy was spotted wearing a ring earlier this month (Valentine’s Day).
They were reportedly preparing for a summer wedding but now it has been revealed that the romance is over. Neither of them has confirmed the news yet.
Perry and Mayer started dating in 2012. They split in March 2013, but got back together soon after that. The couple recently released a song together, Who You Love. Katy told E! News about their duet: “I’ve been such a fan, I think he’s so incredibly talented and gifted and a genius songwriter. So to be a part of anything he was doing was just natural.”

Well that was something what was supposed to be expected, as for me it is very obvious that Katy Perry has a very bad character, so no one is able to hang out with her for too long. I guess she is same as Jennifer Lopez, all the good guys that appear on the way, they both attract at the maximum level they can, and after the man is in love they start showing their real essence. That is not nice. I think in order to have a successful relationship a person should be very opened towards the loved one in the first case, and in the second case it is very important to be up to compromises instead of thinking awe I am so damn good that not I am supposed to change, but he is suppose to change for me, because that it what love really means.
Awe wow, Katy Perry screwed up again in her love life, guess it is not that “hot” news anymore, as it is all that she is doing pretty much all the time. I feel sorry for her but there is certainly nothing that can be done here now. The main problem is her character, she will not be able to be happy till the time when she will finally change it, and I guess it takes time to do that in the first place. And in the second place I think it is important to be kinder with people, and with her. Katy Perry got so used with the image that the producers have created for her that she even started being the way she was pretending before. I have read in some article that both of her parents are pastors, well I am sure that this kind of behavior and attitude towards people is not something that her parents have taught her.
I am not even sure if it is the case to discuss Katy Perry’s life, as she does only what she wants all the time. So the question is why everyone is so shocked? Hmm, though I am surprised by the fact that John Mayer had let her go, honestly speaking I thought that he loves her, and that at least he will fight for some more time, but probably it is not the case. Sometimes we just realize that it is not going to work out and leave everything the way it is in order not to suffer later. Unfortunately Katy is a very stubborn person, and she would rather keep on with her principles, than giving up on some of them for the sake of love. And that is not the way it is working in a relationship. The key secret for a successful relationship or marriage is “giving” and “receiving” it means the emotions you give you are receiving back, while some person in a relationship gives everything and in return gets nothing, well it is a bit disappointing.
