Her ABC drama Scandal now averages 12.5 million viewers each week. Washington also got Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her portrayal of crisis manager Olivia Pope.
“The reward for me is that I get to play this woman. Everything else is gravy. What I do at home with my binder and my highlighter and pens, having that homework and that depth of character to explore and play – that, to me, is the best prize ever,” the actress said.
Kerry Washington is stunning and very refined actress. Still she is not an egocentric person and knows the real value of her profession and her professional achievements make her happier than any rewards, though they are very flattering too. I like her modest nature and how elegant she always is. I think I am in love. Wow! How anyone can be so perfect???
