It has been speculated lately that Kevin Spacey might play a villain in the next James Bond movie; however, the actor has dismissed the rumors.

Spacey says he hasn’t even spoken to Sam Mendes, who will direct the next 007 film, about it.

He explained: “I don’t know why people keep writing about this. I’ve been offered no role, I’ve never read a script, no, I am not doing the next James Bond movie. I don’t know who started the rumor but stop it.”

“Obviously if he (Mendes) wanted me he would’ve offered me the role. I don’t even know if there is a role frankly,” Spacey added.
