Kim Kardashian shares post-pregancy diet

The reality star gave birth to her daughter on 15th June and has managed to shed some pounds since then. As it turns out, she has been using the Atkins diet.

In response to a fan’s query as to how she lost so much weight, Kim replied: “I’ve actually been doing the Atkins diet and luv it.”

There are quite a few medical professionals who think that the Atkins diet is not the healthiest way to lose weight, but, according to a source, Kim’s doctor approved it. This source stated Kardashian “is eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies and cheese. She wanted to be a healthy, nursing mom and not toxify her milk with her diet or lose weight too quickly. She’s been doing Atkins since her doctor approved it at the end of June.”

kim-kardashian-kim-kardashian-arrives-at-lax_3888954Jennifer Livingston, a spokeswoman for Atkins Nutritionals told New York Daily News: ”Being a new nursing mother, she needed adequate calories to be healthy for her child and keep up her milk production. It’s a very balanced way for her to lose the baby weight while continuing to properly care for her daughter.”

    Though Kim has a very ‘trashy’ reputation and I do not like her personality from what mass media tells us, she looks stunning. I like her both when she was slimmer and now when she is overweight as many would call her. I like the way she looks. She is simply stunning!
