Kirsten Dunst wants lasting career

When deciding on her projects Kirsten Dunst always chooses the roles she enjoys and isn’t focused on money, despite what her mother thinks.

The actress told Harper’s Bazaar: ”I’m too old to be swayed in any way now. She sees that I do these indie films and she’s like, ‘I don’t understand why these people [reality TV stars] make so much money and you don’t’. I’m like, ‘Mum, I’m an artist, I want a career path that will last. Relax. We’re OK.”

Kirsten also said that during her teenage years she used to play down her career as she didn’t want to be a target.

She explained: ”I actually underplayed myself [at school] because I didn’t want to be a target. The fact that I was an actress made me nervous. I never wanted to be called names or anything. I was afraid of that.”

As far as it goes Kristen Dunst has a shy character and now she wants a lasting career. Well, if this is about the money, Kristen, you can make it, but then no underplay is required. You should show your talent to people and work your ass off to reach the goals you have put in front of yourself. As to the reality show starts that make much more money is the decay in society and its values. This is sad enough, I can tell.
